Purchased a chrome 100 Amp alternator at a Pigeon Forge car show. When i started to install it i found out it is for a 3/8 inch belt. My water pump and crank pulley are 1/2 inch. So i contacted Jeg's, and found out a 43/64 th's shaft diameter pulley was not available thru them. Makes me wonder if i have bought an alternator i may not be able to use. Make matter worse i do not remember what company i purchased it from and i cannot find a receipt. According to the tech at Jeg's 43/64th's is just a bit larger than 5/8's. What are my options?
