    Are all 15x6 ralley wheels 5 x 5 ?

if not - which wheels have 4 3/4" bolt spacing?
and when did 15 x 7 first appear on Buicks?
    Thanks for the info !

Here are some pics to help locate 15x7 5" bolt pattern rims, usually found on Estate Wagons from late 70's to mid 80's.

Here is a top view. Arrow is pointing to the slot, which is narrower on 5" rims. 4 3/4" rims have a wider slot. Also the 5" rims appear as one piece, while the 4 3/4" centers appear to be more seperate.

Here is a side view. Arrow is pointing to the area where the extra inch was added to make the 7" rim.

Another view pointing out where the extra material was placed to make the 7" rim. You can see how deep it is in this pic. A 15x6 rim will be shallower in this spot. I hope this helps. This topic can get confusing.

  5. Yes, I do believe all 15x6 rims were 5" bolt pattern Big Buick only. All A-body 15" rims are 7" wide, 4.75 bolt pattern.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, I'm just repeating what I've read. :Do No:

I believe all 15X6 wheels are 6 inchers, but as stated in the earlier post, the late 70s and early 80s wagons had 15X7 all on a 5 inch bolt pattern. To my knowledge, all 4 3/4 pattern wheels were 15X7

    Joe -
Did you mean 15x6 wheels are 5 inchers?
    Zach-
