Hello, Question for all the Canadians, Ontarians actually. Last year I found a company that would insure me, and this company didn't have the "driver must be over 25 rule" I beleive the company was based in Windsor, and that the company started with the letter "Z" . Lots of info I know. I lost the number and would like to know if anybody has any idea what I'm talking about Trevor
insurance trevor: cannot find any insurance company or agent with letter beginning with "Z" in windsor . i insure my 72 gs with MAGERMANS AND RAES on london rd in sarnia . they used to agents for zurich insurance which was purchased by aig insurance . zurich was one of a very few companies that would insure classic vehicles . i deal with a girl named laurie laurie@MAGERMANSANDRAES.COM both my brother and i have had classic car insurance thru laurie , for several years . hope this helps .
Baker Insurance out of Calgary Alberta will insure any car over 25 years old provided the car isn't used to go to work...
Hey Gerry, Thanks again, I'll drop her a line. Any idea if they have the driver must be over 25 rule? So far taht has been my largest sticking point, I've found a lot of companies that will give me a great rate, if I was over 25! Trevor
Trevor;- Zehr Insurance Brokers Ltd. 59-65 Huron Street PO Box 9 Newhamburg ON N0B 2G0. (519) 662-1710 I have been with this company for 14-15 years. They had me with Zurich for most of it but the last 2 years have been with Pilot Ins., Co. My cost is $168.67 for an agreed upon value of $15,000.00. I am only allowed so many K per year but that does not bother me as most of my travel is by trailer. They have currant pictures and an appraisel. Hope this helps. Harold Rolls. PS That is for one million coverage, and the agreed upon value.
Canadian Car Insurance You guys might want to check out the 'Silver Wheel Plan' www.lant-ins.ca :TU: Brokers across Canada - been with them for 3 years now - about $90 a year! Not sure about the under 25 details, since that was a while ago - but good coverage @ decent rates ! If your talking to Tony, mention my name so I'll get a big fat discount - not very likely. :beer
Hey Randy Lant will only insure you if the driver is over 25, It's really frustrating due to the fact that insurance for the 71 and my leasbre is running me about 2 grand a year, if I could get classic car insurance I could almost cut that bill in half
Ah, trey www.kanetix.com They do quotes online and will list the canadian companies that will insure you if under 25.
Insurance Trevour: You may want to check out the following link, I found RBC had the best price for my son on a newer car but I notice they also advertise classic car insurance. You can get a quote on line www.rbcinsurance.com/ Paul
under 25 trevor: do no know if aig insurance sells to under 25 (thru magermans & raes) . the only caveat is u cannot drive the vehicle to work . i have no mileage limitation . u will have to have the car appraised.
