Some clears will fade a little faster than others, of course if you don't wax it it'll fade even faster  If you are worried about it looking "too restored" just drive it and get lots of bug splatter and rock chips...and enjoy it!

    LOL
The only time I heard anyone say a car was too shiney, was when only part of the car was painted. Never heard of over restored though. :Do No:

retention of the shine also depends on the quality of the cleacoat itself. run of the mill or good stuff.

After 15 years and a few battle scars, my wet sanded, polished finish still has good gloss. The car is always garaged and I clayed it for the first time last year (wow ! ), it gets waxed (Meguiar's) twice a season, depending on conditions.
People are always amazed at the age and condition of the finish which is almost as good as the day it was completed.
Just enjoy the shine, and keep it looking new ! :beer :TU:
