I just pulled the front springs off my '76 Century Special w/V6 which I'm upgrading to 455 power. The springs are heavier duty than expected. The wire diameter is .740" and according to the specs I saw I expected to see around .700" or less. The replacement spring I got for a '73 Century 455 is rated at 500lbs/in and is .750". I want to lower the front end so I have to cut the new springs but I'd like to know what I'm starting with. That brings me to my question. I actually found a paper wrapped around the original spring that says ANS 354180 or maybe 654180. Does anybody have an old GM part book to look up the specs on this spring? Thanks, Mike
