Car is a 70 GS Stg 1 with A/C. Quite a few years ago (10+?), I bought a set of coil springs (front and rear) from the GSCA. Finally getting around to using them. The springs aren't marked (top/bottom, right/left). How do you tell which end goes up/down, and which spring goes on right/left side? I thought that since the A/C stuff is on the right side, the right front spring may be a little stiffer, but I can't see any difference. Does top/bottom, right/left matter on front and/or rear springs?

BTW...I can tell which springs are front and which are rear. :Smarty:

    Thanks,
    Ira

Rear springs have a much larger coil. Like these

Front springs are much tighter like these

    I know that

As I mentioned in my original post, I know which ones are front and which are rear. What I'm trying to find out is if there is a difference between left/right and top/bottom.

    Thanks,
    Ira

Now that you know I can't read....

I dont think there is a left and right difference.
    Or up and down...

    hopefully someone can verify...
