Man, I spent about 4 gross, hot, very dusty hours in the attic above the garage this weekend. Trying to get everything I want to take with me on the move back east boxed up, and trash a bunch of stuff I have no idea why I kept it! Ran across some stuff I forgot about. I found quite a few new and used GS and Stage 1 emblems, an old KB deepened oil pan, some factory style head pipes (not sure why I would have bought those!) some old door panels done in vintage diamond pleat (the heat and dust has ruined those), flex fans, three of them, does anyone still run these? Some console parts, GS air cleaners etc. I found a couple of those chrome plastic trims pieces that goes around the shifter handle on a console, one is still in the GM packaging. I must collected a few of the handles too. And finally a set of cast iron exhaust manifolds that came o my boats 454 Mag when I bought it. Man those heavy dirty things about killed me getting them down the ladder by myself :) Anyone remember Lakewood (I think) slapper bars for A Bodies? I ran them for a while and then pulled them for some reason. Looks like they may stiffen the lower control arms, but I'm not sure if they do much more than that! Once I get moved, I may try and clean some of this up, organize it and sell it it either here or at one of the Buick meets I'll now be able to attend! Oh yeah I even found the first real mold I made for a fiberglass part, a trunk lid for a 1970 Charger. Boy you can tell that piece was a first attempt!

    Craig,
Do you know what year you bought those slapper bars? and yes they are from Lakewood.

Also, could you give me a measurement of the braces with the heim joints. I could use the overall distance from center to center and the length of the center sections with the nuts on each end.
..............and if you want to sell them let me know.
    Thanks.
    Duane

Dave, I think I'll be about 200 miles from you, I'll be in Berkeley Springs, WV which is just across the state line from Hancock, MD.

Duane I think I bought those Lakewood bars in the late 80's when I moved out here to Phoenix. I attached some measurements, let me know if you need others.

Some of the small stuff I've already packed in boxes for moving next month. As soon as I get back east I'll go through everything and figure out what I want to sell.

What would you need for the console top piece? Is that single in good shape with no pitting?

Darren, I couldn't say, right now everything is boxed up for my move back east. I'll get everything unpack shortly after getting back to WV and see what I want to sell.
