The COLD light on my Wildcat isn't working, and until a new sending unit arrives (the HOT light does work during cranking), I thought I'd try replacing the COLD light bulb with the bulb for the dash board gear shift indicator. The car has a console, so this position is blanked off, but I can see the glow of the bulb :puzzled: . I thought I'd try removing the access panel under the ignition switch and see if I can do the deed without removing the instrument cluster. Gauges were added at some point, oil pressure and temperature, but I don't think this is the cause of the COLD light not working, since all other lights work. But, I've wrong before... What do ya'll think? Thanks in advance.

I made a mountain out of a mole hill. I removed the access panel under the ignition and replaced it in about 10 minutes. :TU:
