color of original rear bumper name plate

    Hello there I bought a rear bumper for my 70 GS 455 and am curious if the rear bumper name plate is supposed to be argent silver or black?
    The one on the new bumper is silver.
    What was the application difference. Or just a looks thing.

    Base skylarks were argent , customs and GS's were black and the bare bone stripper models were blank I believe
