I started a thread concerning a 68 GS that is far sale in Grand Junction Colorado. I was wondering if there were any members close to it's location who might be able to take a look at the car and let me know what you think. The man's name is Charlie Holcomb. Although I am in Colorado, Grand Junction is a little too far up the hill for me to get to it for you. Does the seller have a video camera? That tends to work really pretty well. They can film everything and then send you the tape. Wish I was closer to Grand Junction, that is where my 442 was bought new. I have been dying to get over there and visit the dealership that it was bought from. I say check on the video camera, that may work out.
I would go look at it for you, but Grand Junction is on the western slope and a bit of a drive for us in the Denver Metro area. Plus the mountains have been hit with some serious snow over the past few days which would make it a looooooong trip. Was this car on ebay awhile back? I seem to recall a white GS for sale that needed some work in western Colorado?
I don't know if it was or not. The guy told me he has only had it for sale a couple of weeks. I saw the snow was falling there. Wrong time of year to be asking favors.:ball: Maybe the weather will help keep the car around so I can find out more about it.:laugh:
