Congrats Frank it looked awesome just finished reading thru it and I think you made a mistake not using the cowprint seat covers for your resto... Really ... LOL p.s. I showed your ink to one of my co workers and commented "The KFC guy races with you? " no lie LOL ? Paul
Paul fyi it is referred to as a "playful bovine print", in other words I am in the beef business and not the Chicken business....sorry to disappoint. LOL! Thanks again for the kudos!
awesome car! :TU: I've always liked MOPAR A-bodies, but ended up with a 340 in something else.
Circa 1996............ I couldn't use those after the restoration beacuse the black and white playful bovine print just ~clashed~ with the OEM Light Blue interior! LOL
Frank, I tried to call and congratulate you over the phone, but big stars probably don't take calls from mortals.... it was a good spread though, and it only took me a day to wrestle my copy away from the grasp of my new roommate (had to drop an oldsmobile picture on the floor to divert his attention). Next spring maybe we can read an article about the bracket king of Milan too?
Fast Frankie lights 'em up at The 2012 Pure Stock Muscle Car Drags: Good show, Frank, and congrats on the press. :TU: BP
LOL! Thanks Bob for the ACTION photo! I even emailed Terry McGean and asked him "WHAT?!? No burnout photos??!!??" hahahahaahaha :beers2::beer
Frank, congrats on the cool feature story on your GTO.........I mean GTS:TU: And, make mine a bucket of original style with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Now who could that be????? Hubba, hubba, call Rusty for rubba........ Roommate? Yikes!!!!!!! I'll give you two the benefit of the doubt that it's strictly platonic... keep it in the closet..... Oh yeah, Congrats, Frank...great spread on a great job...fast, too...
Late to the party but must say GREAT article Frank! No subscription so i just picked it up today at Barnes and Noble. Congrats also to Jody on having his 74 GTO in there. I've always liked those and was drooling when I saw it at the race this year. Cant wait to see it run!
