Seems the other thread I started is corrupted, so here's another one cheering him for the inclusion of his Mustang in the latest issue of Muscle Machines.

Thanks guys. I never would have expected Special K to get photographed. We had the engine compartment not finished for MCACN at the race. No stickers, washer fluid bottle etc. We since have finished that up. But that was not to noticeable in the pictures.

Jody, that would be if squeaking by is a mere 0.31 with that tiny little motor giving up 65 cubes to that monster the Goat has. :spank: Geez, do I need to beat you by two ZIP codes to get credit. LOL

The natural view a '74 Goat has of a K Code. It is hard to tell but Jody was in the right lane...

In the pits, I saw each of these guys trying to elevate the performance of their cars. One in white, one in black. It was like Spy vs. Spy! I was waiting to see who was going to plug their ears after dropping a bomb.

Picking on a wounded car :Dou: I guess being down 0.31 is not too bad considering your little pony has got me by at least 600 pounds.

Good thing Jody and I are best friends because your spy vs. spy reference is pretty true. We have been goofing with each other since last winter when we found out we would be matched up. We have been helping each other in large doses too. But that is less fun than the still non stop trash talk every week.

By the time Jody is done beating the little K Code he will have a completely new car. I will have changed heat range on the plugs and turned the air bleed screws out to something normal. Boy those Pontiac Nova's sure take a lot to compete with what has always been considered to be a secretaries ride. My wives car is man handling that goat...

Now I went and did it. Jody likely will have a new motor program for next year. BTW way what is 3800 lbs. - 3300 lbs.? My old school math does not come up with 600 still.

No, it is an Apollo...LOL. Doesn't the wife actually have to "drive" it to be considered the "wife's" car? Ok....500 lbs but you should be ashamed of only beating me by .31 seconds with me weighing 500 lbs more and having a factory rated 271 hp compared to my 200 hp ! Tisk tisk. :pp

I know what you are going to say next. "That is Gross vs. Net" Ok but you still have more and weigh less my friend.

Can't wait to share my story with everyone at the MCACN show
