Hi, I'm planning to convert the black interior of my '68 Riv to white, and was wondering if the console and seatbelts are supposed to be white or, as I believe to be correct, black. I don't have any pics of a white interior 68 Riv, but if anyone should happen to have some I'd appreciate getting them. Thanks much.

Yes, I was talking about stock, but thanks again for the pics of the seats in your Riv...I was needing them so I'd have a reference when I get mine reupholstered. But my question is about the stock interior, if it's white, what else in addition to the seats are white. I pretty much know the headliner, A pillar covers, kick panel plastic, door panels, rear side panels, and rear package tray will be white. I think the dash pad, console, seat belts, and carpet should be black, but just not sure.
Black dash pad, console, carpet, belts, and carpet insert on the lower doors and lower rear quarters Jim. Everything else is white. :TU:
Black Blue or Burgandy depending on color of car my neighbor has a blue one white int with blue dash pad and console seatbelts:TU:
Thanks guys, good info. I hadn't thought about the exterior color impacting on the dash pad color, but it makes sense. My Riv is now a very dark blue, similar to the '68 Dark Blue Metallic, which shouldn't be on a Riv but hell, nobody is going to know that it wasn't a Riv color in 1968. At least not at a local car show or at the drag strip. I think I'll leave the dash and carpet black, especially since the dash pad is for the automatic temp control system and is cracked where the "sniffer" comes thru the top of the dash. I can't find a dash pad for the ATC system that isn't cracked there, so I'm not going to put a lot of effort into it, cover it with a dash cover I guess. Thanks again.
'68 Riviera - Black, White, Parchment, Buckskin, Champagne, Blue, or Platinum, depending on exterior colour of car - no Burgundy. :TU:
