converting bench to buckets,anyone know the distance from the rear of the console to the front edge of the rear seat on a 72 a body?
When i did mine i put inthe shifter first and adjusted the console to the shifter. Some of the screw locations for the shifter are already dimpled in the floor. Make sure you get the weld in brackets for the front and rear of the console. there is a round disc area on the floor where the trans. cable goes through as well.
