hi guys, i'm trying to change my column shifter to a floor shifter. so far i have the console and shifter. now i need the cable and bracket and the knowledge to put it together. i think i need the console brackets too. I never did this before and i need all the advice i can get. I'm installing new carpet but the carpet i have isn't made for the shifter. Do i have to cut it, or do they make carpet to fit a console car?.......mike
Have to cut it,(the carpet) also there is mounting brackets to weld on the trans hump to mount the console, is not that hard, there is plenty of aftermarket trans cable brackets for a 350-400 tranny. GL! :TU:
