From face book, it looks like you may be getting them ported and converted to Stg1 valves?
You can for sure do what ever you want with them, and I absolutely respect that.
But if these were mine, I would really be thinking about this move. Not saying I wouldn't do the same...just saying

 

Probably the only set or one of the only sets in existence..I'd think a little before doing that myself,but that's my opinion though... I would put them on my motor and run them like they are. Would be great on top of a motor with Edelbrock valve covers an an old style B4B

 

Very interesting! Be pretty cool to track down the story on them...and the car they used them on.

 

No story on them going to put on 1972 stage1 conv. Sending them out to be converted into stage 1 and ported and polished

 

Why don’t you put these up for sale and let someone preserve them just the way they are. I am sure you could get more for them than a new set of ported TA aluminum heads. You get an awesome set of heads and rare old Buick parts get saved. Heck you might even turn a profit. It’s a win/win.

Talked to Denny Manner about the heads he doesn’t remember them. I know of 1 other set that we’re converted to Stage 1

 

Maybe Jim Bell would have info.....
