Has anyone sourced the special bolts GM used on the convertible tops for the attachment and the pistons?? Mine are rough, I might be able to save them or use standard bolts and work the heads to creat the dome but I need these fast....hoping someone sells them new so I can just buy them and not have to re-plate or whatever...

    Pic attached.

Also posted in the ragtop forum but this one gets way more traffic....

    Thanks

I have not found them. Did you check www.hydroe.com

If not, I bet you can make a stainless bolt work.

I will check with them tomorrow. Thanks George.

A guy could easily modify a standard hex to make that shape and then get it nickel or chrome plated, but I'm kind of in a bind for time now....

I'll let you know if I find any...

    later

You can easily use the stainless for the time being. Does not have to be correct for now.

If all else fails, get a stainless bolt and have someone with a lathe make it correct.
