I would like to add a power brake booster to my 69 Special Deluxe. Has manual brakes along with a 400 eng. from a 69 Sportwagon. I have the booster form the Sportwagon, & the proportioning valve is around here .....
Is there anything else I need/do to make this conversion?

    Thanks, Mike

    gotbuick What, me worry?

Need these items from power brake car:

    Booster,
Vacuum line and fitting at intake manifold,
    Brake master cylinder,
    Brake lines,
    Prop. valve.

All lines going out of the old prop. may or may not work with new valve.

i am adding the other possibilities if u are not converting from drum to disk brakes , in concert with jerry's response .
if your car already has drum brakes , all u need would be the power booster & extension brake lines from the master cylinder to the distribution valve (not proportioning valve) . if u already have disk brakes , then the same scenario applies except the extension brake lines route from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve . of course u will need a vacuum line & fitting from the booster to the intake manifold , for either option ..

The car has aluminum drums on the front. The 400 eng.came out of the same Sportwagon that the brake booster I plan to use came from. Also have the vacuum line & fitting & the distribution valve.

Looks like I'm ready to get to work.

    Thanks
