That is very cool. What is the story with this picture? Is a real picture, or a photoshop merge? Where does it come from, I think it's fantastic. Reminds me, I need to show you guys a couple stills from the movie I'm working on..
I was looking around my computer for other railroad pics and I found these. My brother took this one when he was working for the Ohio Central. Maybe he'll chime in and tell you what it's about. The only thing I know is that it's an old ALCO. Here's some of my handywork from January 05. This was a 5mph derailment. Surprisingly there was no track damage. That's me in the background.
The long train is from Quaker tower (left) at Collinwood yard Cleveland,Ohio and the second is just east of the 152nd st.bridge at Collinwood, and the last is just west of that same bridge and the old Coal steeple from the late 1800's.
The old Buick and the Steamer is a fantastic picture. The train is The Heber Creeper and it's been running and dining since 1899. This time of the year is the best time to watch it puff away in the cold and snow. Bring your car, take some photos and hop aboard. Check this link for more about the steamer http://hebervalleyrr.org/
Appears to say right off I 85 based on the sign in the background. I cannot make out the crossing highway on the other sign.
