Yes, a number of guys have inquired with these guys on pricing. They seem to price everything higher even than ebay top dollar. I hate to think what they would want for an NOS 71 GS grille...
Sad.... There are some really cool, restorable early 60's fullsizes that would look awesome as bagged, wide whited cruisers...... Why do all these yards seem to be owned or staffed by rednecks that either don't want to sell anything or think their stuff is worth a mint just because it is old?? Sadly, most of it will just sit and rot into the ground.
From the way that he talked on the phone it seemed as though he had numerous GS and skylark grilles. $850 for a good used skylark and $1350 for a NOS Skylark. I hope his pricing never catches on or I will be fabricating a GS grille out of pop bottle plastic.
