Finished up the carb for my ragtop yesterday. Few little mods as per the Doug Roe book, went a little rich on the primary rods for initial running, will tweak later once car is on the road. Tried out eastwoods carb renew, looks not bad, tried to keep as translucent as possible but came out kind of heavy I guess. Oh well, nobody will see it anway. Some of the parts should be gold cad plated too, but I am on a budget here.....fuel inlet will be repalced with new one though once it arrives... One thing...since I had the carb cleaner out and the place was already full of fumes, I also cleaned and reasembled four other carbs (why store grease, right?)....it was interesting that some had the "bronze" look on everything except the aluminum base, others had the aluminum base, a greenish float bowl section, and then the "bronze" air horn. Wierd. Anyway, pic attached. I think it will do. later Tim
