Just spoke with Peter. He's on his way home for the weekend after a series of tests. He's tired but in good spirits. So far, tests results have shown that everything is well and he's a great candidate for a heart transplant. I'm sure he will update us all soon.

Thanks Steve for posting and thanks to all folks that have responded or called. I am having a Heart Transplant Assessment. Since Oct, my heart has been going south faster than we would have liked. It's functioning right now at 23%. Not an ideal #! I have to go back in the hospital on Sunday night to resume test next week. A lot of test are being done. It's the ultimate physical. At the end of this test, they will decide if I should get a new heart or not.
Thanks for your support, it all helps!
    Peter

Get yourself planted in that lazy boy and get some rest my friend. You might maybe find a hockey game on the boob tube in the great white north. Just maybe. Tim & Rhonda Clary stopped by the other day while they were out cruising the Cutlass and filled me in what's going on. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Keep positive at all times Pete, and let us know if you need anything.

  16. I can relate, my father had a heart transplant in September of 2007. His heart was @ less than 15% efficiency when it was done. He is doing well, and it is an amazing thing. He will be 62 in July, and has no complaints other than old age. (i.e. - arthritis, poor eye sight, etc.) I am wishing you well and hoping that they work quickly to get you to the top of that list.
