Would this be the correct markings for 1970 Stage1 Upper Radiator hose?

Does anyone have the any pictures of the lower hose and what the correct markings would be?

Just curious, do they have different markings on stage-1 GS cars radiator hoses?

They had something like 4 different manufacturers making the hoses for our cars, so the one pictured would be one of those styles. That is as long as the part number on it is correct.

No, it would have been a 455 hose for an A-body.

Dan, that XB code hose is my picture and is on my GSX. It is correct for 69-71 big blocks. I have two other NOS hoses with the same shaped hose and both have different markings but the same part number and code. I have reproduced the stamp for the one you show and can make a hose for you but it is not the same shaped hose as original but it is the shape almost everyone uses.

Also notice my hose pictured above has the AU markings stamped in the rubber so I believe it is really old.

Here are more NOS hose markings. Notice where they are stamped. Some re-staomped hoses have number sin a different place.

Here is my stamped lower hose. It is based on and original hose I have. I stamped it on the car at the GS Nationals in a hurry for the concourse show. I will probaly leave it like this as the factory stamps were not always neat either.

My Grandfather has a 1970 GS 455 auto and says he believes the upper radiator hose on the car may be original

The numbers I have not seen on this forum

The hose is black with a dual yellow pin stripe (stripes are about 1/4 inch apart and about 3/16ths wide)
in the middle of the hose the pin stripe is stopped and in between is the following code in yellow letters

    80CH50 EB J 02 08

We are wondering if this could have been an original factory piece.

Sorry the picture is from a camera phone

New to forum. Never thought it would be this difficult to get Up/Low Radiator hoses w/ the original markings for my 70 GSX Stage 1. This site is extremely helpful. Thanks to all the contributors. Year One claims to have the properly marked lower hose (special order) but not the upper. Have emailed Dave, noted in this thread. Any other suggestions. Also looking the properly marked belts for an A/C car. Thanks for your help. John A.
