    Hey Guys-

I need to freshen the underside of my hood on my 72 Lark. Its a driver car. What is the best/correct spray paint to use? Rustoleum/Krylon satin or flat, or?
I'll probably do the radiator support, etc at the same time.

    Thanks!
    Dave

I used a Krylon satin black, really came out nice! Not sure if it is correct, but satin does nice.

Duplicolor DE 1635 Ford Semigloss Black...about as good as you get out of a spray can.

    Adam,

The engine compartment looks great :TU:

Is that a little body color overspray on the hood bumpers (fender)? I had some on mine and I scrubed them with a scotch brite pad and then scraped the rest of the paint off with an exacto knife. They cam out looking like new. I had a hard time finding the correct style repro bumpers so I had to do this :Dou: It only took a little while and I saved a little money in the process.

Yeah, that's body color on those...I didn't think about the exacto knife trick...I'll try that. Thanks:beer

I did not "cut" the paint off, I scraped it off.... :TU: It also worked on the overspray on my window fuzzy rubber.. :TU:

Right...I think a razor blade will work as well.
