    Hello everyone,

I really need some input on where the tail pipes should end for a very factory appearance. If someone has a picture or could just tell me specifics (you know six inches in front of the rear bumper and five inches inside the rear qaurter panel).

I am taking my 67 GS400 to have new headpipes, mufflers, and tailpipes put on next wednesday and wanted to make sure I knew exactly what I needed to know!!!

    Thanks for any help,

p.s. Thanks for the help Phil, Kerry is really going to help me out.

    same question

Actually, I have the same question about my 66... I have 2 1/2" dual exhaust, and the pipes curve and dump out the sides just behind the rear tires. I've seen it that way on some 66 GSs, just wondering what it would have looked like on a GS from the factory. I've also seen a few with the pipes coming straight out the back just under the bumper... I think that looks quite a bit cooler!
