    Help needed!!
What is the "correct" routing for the hood tach wires on a
    1970 GSX???
I have seen pictures various different ways. :Do No:

I believe it to be run through an "X" hole in the hood insulation.
With the "plug" hanging down about 3 inches from the hood insulation.

I have also seen some with just small round hole punched in the
hood insulation also with the wire running through it.

I have seen someone attaching some sort of clip to hold the wire
to the underside of the hood. Don't think that is correct.

Any help would be appreciated on the "correct" way it was from the factory.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    clip

    Guys,
    I guess I need a clip!!
    Know where to get one??

Is the "X" cut in the insulation correct?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

That clip is probably one of the hardest parts to find...... have never seen one for sale, only on "x"s...

I talked to Duane about this also and he claimed the X cut in the insulation is correct as well as the clip.
