Hell,i even thought of calling...check out the license plate! http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/1252349845.html
Now just what the heck are you doing looking for a Nadermobile.  The plate is too cool though.:beer
Sometimes i just get really, really bored:bla: I did call,it runs & drives, brakes work, claims surface rust only. And it's a M/T on the floor,he didnt know if it was 3-4 speed. He got it out of his buddys parents field, been sitting for years.
Heck, it can't hurt to go look at it right. If it is a good car parts are easy to get and there is a good following with corvairs .
The plate makes the car worth the money! I'll tell you what, since you live near there why don't you check the car out, get him to agree to $800 for the car. I'll split the cost with you. You keep the plate and I'll drive the corvair! Win win situation.
I dont remember them making any 3 speed manuals ... every one I've seen is a 4-speed. ....yeah, I'm a closet Corvair fan but like the 65-69 body styles. Owned several in a previous life
Yes a 3 speed was an option. I think we had this conversation before , build one like the yellow late model coupe on the G-body frame with big block Buick power. best of both worlds that early body will fit on the G-body frame.
