Last Friday, I visited the Hawkins Point Rd location near Dundalk,MD. Located off of exit 1 from the Key Bridge. They have quite a few oldies. Notable cars on 12/5/10 are as follows- 1962 Buick Special convertible -complete 1974 Buick Electra Limited 2dr- no seats, am fm 8 track went home with me. still had the 455 in it and chrome rallys. 1967 Buick Riviera- has factory disc brakes 1996 Riviera super charged 1967 Chevelle 2dr -fairly stripped 1963 Impala 2dr-stripped 1965 Impala 4dr hdtp-complete 1968 Olds Toronado- no engine, seats 1976 Eldorado hdtp- rough 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood 4dr 1967 Cadillac Sedan DeVille-complete 1966 Pontiac Bonneville convertible-complete,rough 1973 Pontiac Grandville 4dr -low mileage, clean http://www.crazyraysautoparts.com/
I pulled the Post car Dan Vasic has now from there..Very good prices and they work with you well too...
I didn't know they would sell car bodies out of there. That '62 Special convertible was actually really decent. They wouldn't let me take any pics. Might sneak some next time, tho. I saw this '67 Riv at another yard. Not a GS,but has a posi and must have a stiff ratio- the a/c pulley is the large diameter one. Also has headrests. The owner said he had it running and I could check it out if I threw a battery in it. I did and the engine is stuck. the carb is frozen, too. Water must have gotten in it. He wants $750. for it. I am considering , maybe for parts. Roof has some rust through -it had a vinyl top.
Pics and condition of rallys please! Also condition of outside rearview mirrors if they will fit my '72 (remote driver and manual passenger) Thanks!
Well, I am actually 950 miles away from there right now. I went on a junkyard tour up there. The mirror was pitted and the wheels are not bad. They would clean up nice for a driver.
Oh ok...well I'm in the market for the mirrors b/c mine just flops around on the base and not having one on the passenger side is a lil unnerving LOL...driver quality would be fine... As to the wheels, anyone close to there for some pics?
