Hey, i need a dual exaust crossmember for an 83 regal, to fit a th400 in. Who makes it, and where, how can i buy one, would like to order it tonight, or tomorrow. i don't know why i can't find one now, i had a few i could have bought a few weeks ago, but don't remember the info about them. thanks, -Brendan
Brandon,I have one for the GN.You might have to improvise a little, but it will go in.And amezingly enough I am from LI too.BrunoD.
Where on LI? it's gotta be the correct member for a th400 for dual exaust.... have no use for a single exaust, as i don't realy want to modify one... send me a PM with your phone number and i'll call u tonight.
anyone else, just wanna make sure i don't have to do any fabrication, i'd rather just buy a cross member that'll bolt in, if possible....?
heres where i bought mine, pricey but you really cant beat it. http://www.geocities.com/gforcejohn/products.htm
Whats the difference between an 83 regal and an 84 regal.... i thought they were the same.... why is the cross member different? from what it looked to me the one for the 84 would work... i know i'm probably wrong, but i'm just trying to make sure.
the only thing i can think of is maybe 83 and older only has 1 set of holes for the 200 trans under there, where the 84-87 could come with either the 200, or the 2004r.
G-Force Performance in Remsenburg, NY have dual exhaust cross members for "G" bodies. Their phone number is 631-325-7947. I'm on my third one from them (three different cars) and I love them. Last time I tried to order one through Jegg's/Summit (I can't remember which one) they had lost the contract with G-Force so I went directly to the source (G-Force). Hope this helps
For good quality and good price, do a search on the maliburacing.com website for Iceman Crossmembers. I think it was something like $190 shipped including the bolts, plus the frame extension I needed for my '83. Real nice piece.
That number is outta service.... i dont think he's located in the 631 area any more... .... less you have a new number, i'm only finding outta state ones. that stinks, because i live in the 631 area, could have just gon and picked one up today.
gforce is the link i put on my suggestion post, they have the phone # on there.http://www.geocities.com/gforcejohn/products.htm
Brendan I agree with MONKEYY337 & V8REGALOWNER on the G-force Crossmembers, awesome piece , heavy duty, & solid. I have had one in my 82 Regal for 4 years, supporting a 2004R thats backing up a 455. Hope this helps some:TU: Later
