Last night was the annual street cruise in Berlin. It was my first cruise, and my-oh-my did I have a blast! Any other day if you chirped your tires downtown you'd be getting a ticket. But with a line of 100+ cars, the police look the other way during the cruise. Nobody got too wild and it was the most fun parade I've ever been in! There are a lot of Mopar guys around that area, but everyone was really nice. We met a nice guy with a green '70 GS, and there was another green GS but I didn't see who was driving it.

The cruise ended at Country Inn where things....I mean tires.....really heated up. Car after car after truck after car (and a 4 wheel VW dune buggy) did burn out after burn out after brake press after burn out! Of course Lee and I had to get in on the fun. He had his Chevelle, but with the street slicks he was hooking way too good. There were a lot of people egging me on, so when I pulled up onto the road they were chanting "go momma go!" Neil was in the passenger seat giving everyone the thumbs up. So I let the rubber and smoke fly to do my Buick brothers and sisters proud. :3gears: Lee called me on my cell phone to tell me everyone loved me. Apparently my tires smoked pretty darn good and left really nice black marks.  I was going to go there this afternoon and take a picture of the road, but it started clouding up while we were at the car show so we high tailed it for home. Maybe I'll get over there sometime this week or maybe Tom W. could take one. I was hoping you and Yvonne would be there, but I see in another thread you were at the Packer game.

Speaking of the car show....Lee is now in lust with a super nice clean ready to race silver '70 GSX. :jd: Woo hoo! Too bad we don't have 25G's laying around. Lee-----> :ball: :ball: :ball: it even comes with an enclosed trailer :ball: :ball: :ball:
