I looked at a really nice 71 Stage 1 today at a local dealership. I cannot afford this car just was curious to see if it was the real deal. ALso if anybody was looking for one? If so I could get pictures and more info if anybody is interested.

The car I would say is a 9 out of 10. Has correct TS coded block, all Stage 1 stuff etc.... Non AC, Black buckets, Floor Shift auto, Rally wheel, Tach, Guages The paint code is 78 with a F as the Vinyl top. It currently has a black top. Not sure if F in for black though.

It has 52,000 miles. Not sure about documentation. But I could inquire if anybody interested.

Just curious of the value of such a GS?
I heard through the grapevine that they are asking 27K seems a little high but I'm not real knowledgable about these high dollar cars. Dont see them around here much ususally rusted bad!!:ball:

Every car is different, so its hard to put a value on it without seeing it in person....if its a real low milage stage 1 of 71 vintage and very nice shape, they may get their asking price...

Hey Dustin, you weren't looking at my car over in Penns Creek were you? If its the same car, he had it on ebay and I took it to 22 grand but no luck... Its a very nice car but with an asking price thats pretty firm at 29 grand I'm a little short... Only if I can win the power ball....

    brown 71 stage 1

with all this talk about a brown 71 stage 1 in PA, i want to ask, did anybody see a brown 71 stage 1 at carlisle about a year or so back ? i think it was the spring show, not sure now. it was up on a rollback near building T. guy was asking about $ 30 k or so. he tried to tell me that someone checked the cowl tag, and told him that yes its a real stage 1 because it has an H in the serial number. as you know, all that means is that it was built at flint. anybody know the car ?
