kickpanels w/speakers her you go they sound real good i have them in my 68 skylark but i don't have your average system either i went a little crazy and these where easier then making them and look like stock kickpanels just with speakers goodluck http://www.vintagevibes.net/Speakers/kick_panel.htm
I put them in a '72 I got mine from this guy in Texas..When I had a probelm , he was very helpful..and his price was a little lower than everyone else. BTW..I bought the upgraded speaker pkg'g..they work great..enough bass for me without having to have an extra bass tube or anything. Stanley http://www.jsclassics.com/
You can also get em from Classic Performance Products. I think $129 for the cheap speakers. I'm gonna gut mine and put infinity component speakers in them. Stanley, who was that guy in texas, and how much?
Here's what I found for you... Skyman.. Since I bought a year ago..i looked around again now for you. The lowest price I found for the 120 Watt upgraded Pioneers was $169 + UPS ground shipping at this place: www.the-direct-source.com I know nothing about this company. I bought mine from Jim Skinner at JSClassics www.jsclassics.com His website is asking $180 + $10 Shipping. But I believe he will match anyone's lowest pirce. So you may be able to call Jim and get them for $169+the $10 shipping. I think this would be a good price. Hope this helps. Stanley
I found them at vintage vibes.com for $75 with no speakers. That's perfect for me since I really want infinity's up front.
why??? Kick panel speakers are damn near impossible to see. Why not save your money for something important and just get a set of 1 in. spacers and buy a nice set of 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 speakers from whoever your favorite vendor is??? Just my .02
Ken, for the amount of money being invested in my car, it's just a drop in the bucket. It is worth it to me to know that it looks right.
Tunes are not important to most guys, but they are to me. I am a music lover and music in the car is a must. The old AM/FM wasn't cutting it so I installed a 4 channel CD DIN style radio with the help of some of the guys on the board. I need some front channel speakers and I didn't have room to put them in my stock panels so I think the Custom Auto Sound setup is the hot ticket for me. Mike D.
i need tunes also gs mike in my 68 skylark conv. i have 4 15 inch subs (not subway either lol) in custome boxes in my trunk plus a s**t load of other equipment hidden threw out the car all the interior looks stock except head unit (it's a cd player ) looks like it belongs but obviosly not an a track or 45 lol how do i post a picture on here if anyone would like to see it or leave an e-mail ill send it to you. i also have 2 15 inch in trunk of my 94 skylark also no dvd players i feel they dont belong in car no tv no crash lol
Whew, old thread I know, but does anyone have pics of these kick panels INSTALLED in their car? I am thinking of getting some for my 71 GS with A/C. I would prob upgrade the speakers too. How much room will I have as far as speaker depth?
I have pics Hi derek.. I have at least one pic I can e-mail you. Send me a PM with your e-mail address. Stanley
Anybody on here happen to know anything about the kick panels with speakers that Year One offers? Was wondering since I bought a set from them for $160 W/shipping but have not recieved them yet.
the same I think these are custom autosound pieces. CA seems to be the only people who make these..they only sell wholesale..and lots of dealers then sell them. Stanley
Oh good deal, thanks. One last thing do you folks know what type of speakers come with these kick panels from YO? The rep was not able to tell me what type of speakers they were? How was the instalation with these kick panel speakers? Is the wiring easy? And do these panles just fit right in, any cutting etc...?
