Has anyone taken door panels, bucket seats & back Seat, or a center console from a newer car say a Camaro or Firebird or even a Caddy and put them into an early 70's Skylark? I've got a 71 Skylark and would like to put a modern interior into it. Not that I don't like the old stuff (I've got a 70 Camaro that's all original), I'd just like to have something that's a little different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nothin newer will fit and you will have to do modifications.

Your easiest and best solution is to install a new interior from Legendary. Your Buick is already rare. If you install another interior/later model, you will just devalue the car and lose your time and money on it if you decide to sell later.

If you want to do a custom interior like you see in some Hot Rods, expect to pay big money if you are not going to do it yourself. Lots of tips and tricks to making and installing a custom interior, not for the novice.

I thought it would be cool to have 4 Bucket Seats from an '82-87 Firebird, in the '70 Skylark! If you can cut the rear section out behind the seats, you could even have Fold Down Rear Seats with Trunk access!:TU:

I'm working on a similar project, Andy, with 4 Bucket style seats, in my '70 Skylark, but I'm doing the work myself. Much cheaper that way, and I can use materials that I choose (using Memory Foam as the inner seat cushion, to be more comfortable as I drive!).

What other ideas do you have?:TU::bglasses:
