Can custom made rear window trim (for a Chevelle) be made to a slightly off window channel curvature? Or is the best bet to make the car fit the trim? Hoping to save having to do alot of repainting
Darren---Do you mean the original exterior stainless trim?? If so, I guess anything could be done since it's metal...could be cut, welded, formed, etc but since the trim doesn't get covered with paint you would really have to spend A LOT of time getting it to look like it should...finish-wise. It already has a gradual curve to parts of it so that would also make modifying it more tedious and time consuming if the desired result was a piece that looked like no mods had been done to it.
