Greetings, droogs, from Hamden. I recently was handed the title to a 72 Skylark GS series one, and have been having a non-stop fight with trying to find information on rebuilding the car and buying parts. So far, castiron.com makes the best manual I've found on CD rom, a complete recreation of the assembly manual and fisher body manual. Now, if only it would stop crashing my browser........
Anyways, got this site recommended to me by a fellow Skylark owner, and now I'll just be about me business, trying to sort out my headaches with this Mickey Mouse job the previous owner did.........

  2. Welcome to the board! Congrats on the new car! This is the place to find lots of help and information about your 72. So tell us, what do you have there, a Skylark, or a GS? They are not the same model. Can you also explain the "series one" comment? Not quite sure what you mean by that.

OK, the car is a skylark, I was told it's a "GS series one," which was one of the options packages. I realized the other day, a GS is a different car completely.
Like I said, I'm still learning.
