    Don,

Maybe you should buy this book:

Catalog of American Car ID Numbers 1950-1959

Order online at http://www.amazon.com or at your local bookstore using this number:

    ISBN: 188052404X

In my books trim #62 would be black nylon upholstery, with red pipping. With that grey and white exterior (and perhaps the matador red wheels) it must have been a striking car car to behold :TU:

Everything is just fine here, Erik ! I finally found the Buick I was looking for !!
There's a couple of pictures here, on my newly made website www.roadmaster.dk (it's in the testing phase, but have a look !)

I bought it on Ebay, it's from Canada, and it will be arriving in Copenhagen next week. So I'm a bit excited to see what it is I paid for :Comp:

I've told my wife, that we should take for a spin this summer and go to either the German or the Dutch Buick meet, we'll see what happens !

I've been contacted by some people, who want's to start a Danish Buick Club. I believe it will be a busy summer this year !! :beer

    Yours Sincerly
    Johnny B. Goode

P.s. THE MAN himself, Chuck Berry, did a concert in Denmark last weekend. The backing band couldn't keep up  with the 78 year old rock'n roller !!

Same thing happened when I saw him once. You need some Eric Clapton's in the back up band to have a chance. He sets quite a pace.

    Sweet old Roadmaster, Johnny :TU:
Love to see that in the flesh, later on this year :bglasses:

So no need for me anymore to check out '58 Buicks with wooden bumpers for you ? :Dou:

Rear bumper: Real wood !!

Please let me know about any Buick events in Denmark :Smarty:

    my thanks

thank you to those that have replied with info on my codes.

the car has about 5 layers of paint on it. while sanding it down to the metal, the trunk lid even has a seafoam green color on it. the interior is the original, although tattered, black nylon cloth with red tuck vinyl and beading. red and black dash and black carpet.

    thanks again,
    Don W. :TU:
