I am looking for members who have experience degreeing cams.
I just finished degreeing the cam in my 425. I am looking for some advise on what to do. The cam is a NH-400 from Poston. I used the lobe centerline method to degree the cam. Below are the values from the cam card and in parenthesis is the actual.
    Cam Card (Actual)
    ---Exhaust----
    Duration 228 (223)
    Lift .309" (.303")
    Opens 52 BBDC (43 BBDC)
    Closes 4 BTDC (2 BTDC)
    Lobe Center 118 (114)
    ---Intake----
    Duration 218 (220)
    Lift .309" (.304")
    Opens 1 ATDC (1 ATDC)
    Closes 39 ATDC (39 ATDC)
    Lobe Center 110 (108)

The intake looks pretty good. I could bring the lobe center back with an offset key. But what about the exhaust- a little more duration, alittle less lift, etc.
    Your opinions are appreciated.
