I see they're still keeping the Monte Carlo with the V-8 too. Maybe they'll manage to not get rid of all the cool vehicles. I'm not crossing my fingers too hard.

Reminds me of a typhoon. I wonder if they'll dig that name out of the trash bin for another go around.

I like the fact that they're shoving 300hp v8's into almost everything they have but without rwd, it's a small step.

Cody had it right - except this thing is like a Typhoon on Steriods plus the chasis is twice as strong. Blower kits for the LS2 will be selling for $23.99 at Kmart by christmas

GM still manages to sneak out a few cool things now and then.

    God forbid

God forbid they sure do need to keep pumping money into Chevy, why not give Buick a turn and finish the lineup instead of stopping halfway thru. If they can do a Trailblazer SS and everyone loves it and don't seem to care that they again used the fabled SS name on an SUV, why can't Buick do a Rainier GS or GN after all, the Rainier has the V8 available.

In a Rare move, GM actually DID give the nod to Buick - when the Rainier Debuted, it was the only SUV on its platform available in the short wheelbase with the 5.3l V8.

    So much for marketing.....

    Is It a conspiracy?

The SUV craze and the HPers offered in new vehicles flashes me back to the late 70's, when bigger was better, then the gas crunch hit in 73.

Seems that just as soon as performance and bigger vehicles raise their heads big oil is there to up the price, then govmint steps in to raise CAFE standards and stomp on whatever joy we were getting out of life.

    Makes you wonder??

Soooooooooo.........Alan,.did you order yours yet ????????? :Do No: :Do No: :Do No:

You might consider a second job so you can afford the gas to get to the first job !!!!!!!

Prolly has a 40 gallon tank, so at $3:00 a gallon that's one weeks grocery money for a family of four !!!!!
