I've been looking for some information and specifics on products and technques for detailing our cars. Something that goes into detail on the products and process to truly "detail" our cars as if for a show. I'm new to the hobby and want to know about detailing the engine compartment, interior, exterior, etc. There's so many different items: engine metal parts, engine compartment plastics and hoses, different finishes (flat blacks, semi-gloss, full gloss), interior plastic/vinyl (dash pad, console, gauge lenses,etc.). So, who can help? Maybe this could become a whole new "Topic" for ongoing growth and information exchange. If it already exists please point me in that direction. Thanks! Rob
Just read everything you can hear and ask lots of questions. You are lucky this forum is here as many of us started doing this stuff from memory and looking at original cars. Check out the stickies at the top of each area. The long GSX one in the bench is a real good one to start.
