    What a waste of time.
Got one run in during the whole 7-1/2 hours that I was there.
Could have made one more but I was told the timing equipment was not working and everyone would be running the 1/8th mile.
Tech inspection was one question. "You got everything hooked up?" Did not even have to lift the hood.
What a poorly run event. Seems like they were more interested in getting everyone's money, than having a good event.
I'll leave my car at home in the future for events like this.

On a positive note, it was good to see Frank & Karen, Jerry McNicol, Jim Bowman, Paul Petcou, Jeff Morgan & Ron Tuttle.

She was definately the only walking across the stage in their cap and gown with Black and white old fashion converse!

Funny you mention that one, Donny. Jim, Jeff, and I were sitting in the staging lanes and the track workers told us to get ready, you're next.
Then that unfortunate wreck happened. By the time I jumped out of the car and walked over to look down the track to see what happened, smoke was billowing from the wreck. After they got that cleaned up, they told us to get ready again. Then somebody changed their mind and decided it was time for the rat rods to have their one pass down the track. Following the rat rods, they cleaned the track to get all the rust up, I think, then they let us go.

I left at 3:30 after the same 1 pass that Chris got,I had to wait in line for 45 minutes idling and moving up every minute. Then the Ricky racers with the Malibu and mustangs with dumps stiring up the dust so bad that we had to roll up the windows. My tech was the guy ask me what it would run with those skinny tires and signed it and said have fun!!

The track did hook on my run, went 1.95 60ft, 12.27, but no mph at the 1/4 mile, just the 1000ft, but the left lane did give the mph time for the other guy! It was also the first time I have ever been cold waiting in the staging lanes for hours on end. Did I mention that the bathrooms have retained their wonderful aromas.
