I hate to use this forum for this but I've been told there are several Buick people as well as Cadillac, Pontiac, Mopar, and Chevy people that have had dealings with "Bulldog" to make aluminum heads, intakes, etc.

If any of you have or know of anyone that has, would you please let me know.

If you would rather not put anything on this forum you can email me at tedharbit@aol.com

    Thank you.

Thanks William. I had tried the search before I posted and couldn't get anything but I'm pretty computer ignorant so after you suggested it, I tried it again and got a whole book of info. Thanks.

Thanks Jim but you're WAY too kind. I appreciate the kind words but I marvel at the things you guys do on this forum and enjoy the Pure Stock Drags so much all thanks to you guys and Bob and Dan.

The short story here is I paid Bulldog five years ago to make some Stude intakes that he was to have done in two months. Still waiting and it has been one continuous lie after another and still no sign of getting them. I even took him a good block and set of heads for him to use in making the intakes and I can't even get them back. I suspicion he might have just left them at his shop when he got kicked out for not paying the rent.

I have contacted the Indiana Attorney General to see what could be done. The Attorney General wrote back indicating they might be able to do more if I knew if he has a pattern of doing this with others. That is why I'm trying to find out if anyone else has been treated the same way and boy have they!

I've found names, addresses and phone numbers of several people and one person that lost $54,000 for blocks he has not received and appears he will not get them.

If any of your are interested, I'll be happy to let you know what happens but I really don't expect to get my investment back but at least we may be able to put this thief out of business so he doesn't rob anyone else. One of my contacts said they heard him say he was going to put his house in his son's name and has his money hid so no one could get to it. This is hearsay and may be false but I don't doubt it for a minute.

Thanks again to all for you information.

  7. Sorry to see you and others out money and parts. Shafiroff Race Engines did me wrong about 5 years ago. Built me a shortblock that lasted 200 miles. The machine work was garbage, as if it was built to crap out on me. I spoke to someone there with my findings after tearing the engine down. I was told that my findings were, "a difference of opinions." They wanted me to crate and ship the shortblock back, so they could see if they were liable. I know damn well they would have held it hostage and expected me to pay for the repairs. I ended up rebuilding it myself with the help of a friend.

I searched several forums and found quite a few people with similar stories. I tried getting everyone I got in contact with to help me go after them, but it seemed as if most had given up hope and just wanted to move on.
