These days it's hard to tell if anything in your Email inbox is legit. I got two emails in a row wanting me to confirm my Ebay account- wanted my username and password, email address and password. Anyone else? Todd
Forward them all to spoof@ebay.com And on PAYPAL never answer there same security emails too they also are scammers tring to get to your acct info!!!!
Voice of experience here.....DON'T DO IT EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!! Been there, got suckered into it. Next thing I knew the wifes account was selling and buying all kinds of stuff.............Didn't cost me cause I caught it and had a friend lead me the right direction(thanks MG, remember this?). Just don't do it, trust me... later........................
My friend got one of those about 2 weeks ago. He fell for it and 2 days later, his password was changed. Luckily he cought it before any real damage was done. Hes still fighting with Ebay to get his account straightened out. What a nightmare! Jason
Thanks for the replies guys. I emailed Ebay and sure enough it was a scam. I came SO close to replying to it! It looked pretty darn convincing! Thanks AGAIN! Todd
What he said!!!! I got one a couple of months ago, forwarded it as above.... If they get ONE PERSON to enter their bank account and credit card info then they win.......seeing those fields on the second page (I think it was) raised the red flag.........
yeah i got one a while back, and another one right before this post, lucky for me i read about the scam a couple days before...otherwise i might have been suckered into it.NAZI LOOSERS...:blast: :moonu: :af: :stmad:
