Joe Walsh (my MAIN MAN!!!!!!) was just SO ON this morning on Howard's show! It's been 11 years since he's been on Howard. When he was a regular on Howard's show in the late 80's and early 90's I'd actually pull over in my car and listen until he was done.

I have a very close friend who lives in Atlanta who can't get Howard on the radio down there. My buddy shares my affection for Joe and I'd like to send him a copy of Joe's appearance.

Did anyone tape Howard this morning? I'll gladly pay you for a copy of the tape to cover your time and expenses.

    Joe freakin' Walsh!

Probably be on E, no? I think it takes a few weeks, but don't most of Howard's shows still get aired on the E channel???

And we don't need the ladies cryin' 'cause the stories sad....

Greg Schmelzer What are you looking at?!

Puckered up or draggin on the ground, ILBT's!!!

Incidentally, the radio station in Omaha asked what some of the greatest albums of our time were. My response was "You Bought It, You Name It" :TU:  They even played ILBT's on the air for me!! Never thought I would hear it on the radio again after Breastgate 2 years ago.

Oh, and sorry Yards, didn't get to record it. :Do No:

    Thanks Ken and Greg.

But I doubt E! will air the entire Joe segment. They'll surely edit it. But I'll be sure and tape whatever they air of it.

I used to LOVE when Joe was on Drew Carey.

Joe said that his 3 best friends were Keith Moon, John Belushi and vodka. Sam Kinison too.

Joe's been sober now 11+ years. The Eagles told him he HAD to to be able to tour with them. But he also had to in order to save his life.

Joe now has a wife and 2 boys, 5 and 9.

    Yardley,
I told my wife you said Joe was on Howard Stern. Looks like she missed it too. We are big Joe Walsh fans. You might find something on this link. I did not have time to check the link, but it does have sometime on Joe.

Maybe because it was Joe's generation who invented it, and maybe because after you've been stoned for 20+ years and done tens of thousands of dollars to hotel rooms, and wrecked a few cars and lost your driver's license, and buried a few friends from being too stoned it may be time to stop before you die?

Alan..Your a poet!!.. Sorry Jeff, can`t help you on your request.I have liked Joe Walsh myself for quite a while also..Rocky Mountain Way was one of the first songs I learned on guitar years ago.And he was great on Drew Carey. When I first saw him I remember saying to the wife "There`s Joe Walsh"..Joe Who?? If I remember right, that was during Drews rehersals for a guitarist. So after sharing some rock history she now knows.I can pick out his licks on many of the Eagles later tunes.Later,Tony.
