I am interested to hear comments from anyone who saw the new "PINKS" show last night on the Speed channel. The show puts two cars racing against each other for titles! It was pretty cool, this guy from Wisconsin lost a very tricked out 66 GTO last night to an inferior chev street rod!!!

I saw that last night. If that GTO would have hooked up and went straight, it would have stomped all over that little A. BUT thats why they run the race, right? It's good to see the Minnesota boys making their state proud! I thought it was pretty weak that the owner of the GTO didn't drive it himself and brought in a ringer driver, but it didn't do him any good. I will watch that show again. I really like the fact that it actually has some finality to the end of it, you lose the race and your car is gone!!

It's a good show, but as everyone knows, thewy just take the other persons car for show. I hope. LOL.

I went to the website. It's a real deal. If you wanta challenge someone and sign up, there are a lot of legaltype things to agree to and one of them is forfeiture of your car upon losing. The kicker is if there are any disputes and you don't want to give up your car, the TV guys can take your car LEGALLY anyway. They can, as stated on TV, take both cars if the parties involved won't abide by the agreements made beforehand and screw with the production of the episode by not coming to an agreement about the conditions for the actual races.

If I was a loaded guy with a big ego I might be willing to do the show, but, since I'm not and I know parts break and the like, I think I'll just watch it on TV.
