Diff fluid capacity

I'm in the process of servicing my diff under my '67 GS. I assume it is still the 8.2.
What is the fluid capacity for a diff?

Sorry, I’m laughing. Not at the Op, but of the amount. My sarcastic answer would be, you need just enough that you have to buy a second bottle usually. Interesting….

Empty one bottle, open the second and one small squeeze

 

Then, later remember you had an open one from last time!

 

Lolol yep! I was thinking the same thing “ Why do I have an open bottle of this?”

 

Later today I will have a 7/8 jug of Amsoil diff juice if any 1 needs any.

Maybe I could find some small bottles and fill them then make it available to anyone else in the same situation!

 

Yeah, I have more open bottles than closed bottles. Reminds me of a 10 pack of hotdogs and an 8 pack of buns. I need to eat 40 to get on track, lol.

 

Yep, same with boat outdrives. One bottle and 2-3 ozs from the new bottle.

 

Which is it Larry, 2, 3 or 4 pints?
