    Hi!

Im wondering about the differences between the Buick Electra 1967
and the Buick LeSabre 1967 Front?

    1. In pictures I seem to see that the LeSabre seems to not have any chrome on the hood, correct?

    2. And the fenders seems to have one extra little(the gills) chrome detail on the Electra?

    Question:
On the Electra 1967 there are 4 loose chrome gills and on the Electra 1968 there are 1 long, If you take them off on both, do the fenders look the same, I mean The holes for these chrome details?

Can I take 68 fenders, and then place 67 chrome details on it without
    Any modifications ?

    Thanks!

If my memory is correct, I believe the wheelbase on the Electra/Wildcat is 3 1/2" longer, and that difference in length is from the centre of the front wheel forward.
Found this out (the hard way) when I tried to repair a '68 Wildcat using LeSabre front fenders ! :beer :TU:

You are correct. '67 and '68 Electra and Wildcat are on 126" wheelbase. LeSabre is 123" wheelbase. Difference in length is from the firewall forward. LeSabre has shorter front fenders and hood. '67, '68 LeSabre has no center chrome hoodstrip. Grilles from Wildcat, Electra and LeSabre are all the same size, but distinct to each model.

Okey, Thanks Distinct to each model you say, but on pictures do the Lesabre and Electra 67 grilles look exactly the same, for me?

And what about my question, If you take of the chrome details from 67 front fenders and 68 fenders, will they look the same, with the holes I mean?

I borrow this picture to show which details I mean, those up in the right corner (on the 68 there are 1 long insted of 4 seperate):
