Can anyone decifer this? See photo. They seems to act differently. But LOTS of advance. I plan on gapping them at 0.087". My stock cam has a TON of vac and these come IN so early ( inches of vac) it doesn't seem like they will ever go unused even under full throttle.
Are you confusing mechanical advance and vacuum advance? If you have your vaccum advance connected to manifold vacuum, they will come in at idle, so yes real early. When you time your engine, you disconnect the vacuum advance and adjust initial. Then you can play with the mechanical advance curve. The vacuum advance comes in at cruise rpm to give you better fuel mileage At wide open throttle there is zero vacuum so the vacuum advance is not in use
