    Hey guys and gals ....

If there is anyone that wants to bring their points distributors to the Shin-Dig, you are more than welcome to put them on my Sun Distributor machine. I don't know that I will have time to spend on 'em myself, but I will certainly let anyone use it to set their combo up. Dan will be here too, and he's a wiz on the machine.

Bring a good set of points, a curve kit (Moroso, Accel, etc.) with the springs and weights, and a functional distributor, and have at it !!

Sox and Martin had their SuperCar Clinics ..... we'll have a *Distributor Clinic* ....... :TU:

I've never used or seen a distibutor machine...Is it possible to run a tool of the devil equipped dist. on one???Last time I was out, I attemtped to spin the sbc up to about 6,000 RPM. At 5800, I developed a wicked miss.

All Pertronix is BANNED at my door ! :af: < just kidding >

How about we do this .... Get a set of GOOD points, (32oz. Accel, etc.), and lets buzz it up on the distributor machine, and set it up with a good points combo and curve. From there, you can see how the points compare to the Pertronix. Whatcha think ??? :TU:

I just got a print out from Denny Manner for the Stage 1 curve, and he said that it was the best they found for the 455 Buicks. I have never run one of the distributor machines , but it will be interesting to see what can be done.

I love to make it to the party

but I have to see how the weather is at the time. Being that the main stay of our business is building snow removal trucks this is our busiest time of the year. If I can make it I am going to see if I can "borrow" some very rare GM parts from a friend of mine.

    LOts of snow in Michigan

    Lon:

Michigan is a great place to do some test and development with your snow removal trucks out here. Hope you can make it. Must be a special treat building equipment to remove snow on the hilly terrain out there. I remember some wild rides when we lived South of Pittsburgh.

I actually need to get out to Best Cylinder and get some changes made to the cylinder for our Side Dozer. Maybe I can make it a business trip:Brow: - "Yes Sir, Mr. IRS man, that was a legitament business expense:puzzled: "
