   I never worked on a nialhead before, can someone run me though the distributor intall when everything is new. Is it the same as chevy motors? Where is the #1 cylinder?

   No. 1,3,5,7 are on the passenger side, opposite of a Chevy. Firing order is 1-2-7-8-4-5-6-3, hope this helps.
