Just purchased a 1978 LeSabre with a 403 with a bad distributor. Wondering what other cars and engines have the same distributor as none of the wreckers or parts places have new rebuilt or tune-up kits for it.
    Thanks

Any of the Olds 330, 350, or 403 distributors will work. The 307 may work also.

    Philip,

Make sure if you fid an Olds distributor that you get one with a vacuum advance like yours. After 1981 (pretty sure) they went to the computer controlled advance. Since there were Olds 350s available in every GM in the 70s, you should have no trouble finding one. The Olds 350 was especially common in California cause they ran the cleanest. There will also be a ton of Olds 260s out there. Same distributor.

remanned dsitributors are trash unless you own a milling machine.
